Philip Erdberg, Ph.D., A.B.P.P., is a
diplomate in clinical psychology of the American Board of Professional
Psychology. Dr. Erdberg's longstanding interest is in refining psychological personality
assessment and adapting it to provide practical consultation for intervention. He is a past-president of
the Society for Personality Assessment, the 1995 recipient of the Society's
Distinguished Contribution Award, and the 2001 recipient of the Outstanding
Achievement Award of the Forensic Mental Health Association of California. Dr. Erdberg is a senior faculty
member for Rorschach Training Programs, and is a member of the San Francisco Psychoanalytic Institute
Curriculum Committee. He is an active faculty member at the University
of California School of Medicine in San Francisco, a consultant for a variety of
school, clinical, and correctional settings, and a frequent workshop presenter.
Dr. Erdberg is co-author with John Exner of the third edition of
The
Rorschach, Volume 2, Advanced Interpretation,
published by John Wiley & Sons (2005).
